Bill would expand use of refillable ‘growlers’

Wine industry — Supporters say measure would save consumers money and help protect environment

   Oregon vintners are pushing for a new measure in the Legislature that would allow consumers to fill reusable containers — commonly called “growlers” — with two gallons or less of wine or hard cider from kegs at state-licensed stores, restaurants and watering holes.
