Newberg City Councilor Denise Bacon is seeking the owner of an Oregon National Guard award that she found last week at Edwards Elementary School. She said she has contacted the guard and it has no way of tracing the recipient.
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Newberg City Councilor Denise Bacon and a group of local children and other volunteers collected more than 40 pounds of trash in and around the campus of Edwards Elementary School as part of an annual service project.
