Poet finds God in the ‘wild places’

First Friday — Book signing, music, art exhibits and more on tap during this week’s Art Walk

Accessible art —
‘In the Wild Places,’ a book of poetry by Salem author Sarak Katreen Hoggatt, features illustrations by current George Fox University undergrad Erin Kays. Hoggatt says her work is easy to understand and calls it ‘poetry for the people.’
As winter turns to spring, and the signs of nature’s rebirth continue to be unveiled, the Newberg area’s community of artists and art lovers is also awakening, as will be evidenced this week during the First Friday Art Walk March 1.
