Two for two — Senior Bailey Peterson turns the corner en route to his second consecutive Pacific Conference win, and also his first sub-17-minute time this year, Wednesday at a tri-meet at Tualatin. The Tiger boys beat Glencoe but fell to the host Timberwolves, while the girls won both of their contests easily.
TUALATIN — Finally running on a fast course in good weather, Wednesday was a day of personal bests for Newberg, which posted the top finisher in both the boys and girls races to take three of four matches versus Tualatin and Glencoe at Tualatin High School.
