Megan Meyers sheds a defender to pursue a ball upfield during Newberg’s 3-1 win over Forest Grove at Loran Douglas Field on Tuesday. The sophomore scored the opening goal of the game for the Tigers in the first half.
The final result on the scoreboard hasn’t matched Newberg’s performance on the pitch in far too many games this season, but the Tigers didn’t let that happen Wednesday night against visiting Forest Grove.
