Newberg government — Implementation wouldn’t be immediate even if amendment passes at the county level

   After months of postponed votes and delays for various reasons, an amendment to the Newberg south industrial urban growth boundary (UGB) has been approved by the Newberg City Council and is set to go before the Yamhill County Board of Commissioners for consideration Oct.
