For his senior project at Newberg High School, Austin Gallegos is organizing a dollar drive at various churches and organizations around town on Dec. 16 to raise money for Faith in Action. Gallegos and his mother stayed at the Love INC shelter for nine months and he is determined to return the favor to the community.
After moving to Newberg from Colorado during his freshman year, Austin Gallegos’ family found itself homeless before living for nine months at the Love INC community shelter.
