Familiar faces hired to fill two NHS coaching spots

High school sports — The Tigers tab longtime assistants Steve Mayfield and Steve Richards to take over the baseball and softball programs

   Although the faces in Newberg’s dugouts this spring will be familiar, the Tigers will feature new leadership in both baseball and softball after head coaches Scott Klug and Kelly Halstead stepped down following the 2012 school year.
