As if on cue to celebrate the kind, cheerful hearts of the dozens of volunteers who make Newberg’s annual Old Fashioned Festival the recurring occasion to celebrate that it is, Friday’s morose morning weather cleared out during the volunteer luncheon to shower bright sunlight on festivalgoers by early afternoon.
