Another year of wild rides, big fun

Fair weather and plenty of action draw thousands to the tiny town of St. Paul for the nation’s premiere Fourth of July rodeo

   ST. PAUL — The rodeo started Tuesday, and as if on cue summer appeared. Blue skies and balmy temperatures, both of which had avoided the North Willamette Valley so far this year, came in the nick of time and rodeo fans responded in droves with an arena that was about 85-percent full for the first show of the week.
