Newberg, Dundee spared much of weather’s worst

Severe winter weather — Newberg stormwater pipes reach capacity; Dundee sees some minor flooding

   A rash of inclement weather hammered much of western Oregon this week, with torrential rains following in the wake of the winter’s first snow, but outside of at-capacity stormwater pipes in Newberg and some flooding and downed trees in Dundee, the local area escaped the worst of the storms.
