Newberg has 68 total players in grades 10, 11 and 12, which is more than 20 more than in head coach T.J. Tomlin’s (above) first two years with the Tigers.
The Newbergclass of 2012 was among the best in recent memory and that was reflected on last year’s football roster, from which eight athletes went on to play a sport in college, including four in football.
