Jessica Harris, playing Thisbe in a comic scene, will attempt to mourn the death of Pyramus, played by Thaddeo Pia, in the Veritas School presentation of an excerpt from Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
Don’t giggle during the death scene. It’s good but difficult advice for 13-year-old Jessica Harris, whose dead lover is 12 and also suppressing a laugh during a recent practice run at Veritas Christian School.
