Rivermark Community Credit Union has announced it will close its Newberg branch, as well as a location in Clackamas, in November. Local members will still be able to conduct some business online or with mobile devices, or at other credit union branches and ATMs through the Credit Union Shared Branch program.
Rivermark Community Credit Union will close its branches in Newberg and Clackamas this fall.According to a press release distributed by the Beaverton-based company last week, the move is in response to a sharp decline in the use of brick-and-mortar facilities by members — and the surging popularity of mobile and online banking methods.
