Author will vie for an Oregon Book Award

Lisa Ohlen Harris’ book ‘Through the Veil’ is one of five by Oregon authors vying for the 2011 Sarah Winnemucca Award for Creative Nonfiction.
   A Newberg woman who took readers behind the Muslim veil is up for an Oregon Book Award for her tome, which she wrote to dispel stereotypes about the people of the Middle East.
