Recession’s over, unemployment lags

Local economy — Job losses taper off but recovery a moving target, state economist says

   According to the National Bureau of Economic Research, the recession which began in December 2007 actually ended in June — but are things getting better?   Not yet, said state economist Pat O’Conner.
