Banking — Merger of credit unions will take place next year pending regulatory approval

   Oregon First Community Credit Union, which has a branch in Newberg, has announced a forthcoming merger with Southern Oregon First Credit Union (SOCFU), to take place early in 2011 pending regulatory approval.
