Food for Thought: Nothing says fall like zucchini dishes

The oft-maligned squash actually perfect fodder for a delicious pot of soup

All the dishes on this table came from the garden, with the exception of the grilled ham and cheese sandwich. The beer is a Belgian Saison homebrewed in 2008 and now reaching maturity.
   The much-maligned summer squash that is the zucchini is persona grata in my house, as it is one of my favorite vegetables.
