Bruin righthander Mark Putney allowed six hits and no walks in seven innings in the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader win against Pacific at Morse Field.
It was all or nothing for George Fox in a three-game series versus Pacific at Morse Field. The Bruins were good for 27 hits in topping the Boxers 8-1 and 10-0 on Saturday, but couldn’t figure out lefty Jeff Bethke in a 7-4 loss on Sunday.
