PORTLAND — Matt Mardesich broke up a scoreless duel with a two-run home run in the seventh, then added a three-run insurance shot in the eighth as Division I University of Portland defeated George Fox 8-0 in a non-conference baseball game Tuesday at Joe Etzel Field.
