“It was a long time ago, but it left an indelible mark on the world.” That was memoirist and Wilsonville resident Ursula Bacon’s summation of Adolf Hitler’s rise to power — an event that sent Jewish families like hers fleeing their native Germany, and the less fortunate to their deaths.
