Sing-along Messiah set for December

Women of Vision observe World AIDS Day
In honor of World AIDS Day, Columbia-Willamette Women of Vision invites women, men and young people to take 6,000 steps to raise awareness and funds for

Love INC needs volunteers
Love INC (In the Name of Christ) needs more volunteers. Anyone interested may call Polly Siler at 503-537-3999 to set up an interview. Love INC serves as a clearinghouse for ministries in the Newberg-Dundee area.
Director of China program to speak at GFU luncheon
George Fox University’s Thomas Peng, assistant professor of intercultural studies and director of the university’s China and East Asia Studies Program, will speak at a George Fox Auxiliary luncheon at noon Dec. 4, in the Cap and Gown Room in Klages Dining Hall. Eat for Habitat in Newberg
St. Peter Catholic Church, 2315 N. Main St., will serve a simple benefit dinner to support Newberg Habitat for Humanity from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Dec. 5. The menu is hamburgers with condiments, potato salad, chips and ice cream. Minimum donation of $5 per person is suggested. For more information, call Dick Petrone at 503-312-7867.
