Newberg F.IS.H. volunteer gets a hug from a recipient of a food box Saturday at the F.I.S.H. headquarters on Elliott Road. Hundreds of people received tons of food during the annual giveaway. The organization doled out nearly 885 boxes of food during the event.
Christmas came six days early for the clients of Newberg’s local food bank. Newberg F.I.S.H. (Friends In Service to Humanity) distributed its Christmas boxes Saturday, with takers for nearly all of them.
