Michael A. Yazzolino
Michael Anthony Yazzolino of Lake Oswego, who has family in the Newberg area, died Nov. 18, 2009. He was 44.
He was born June 9, 1965, in Portland to Jerry and Kathy Yazzolino. He graduated from Canby High School in 1983.
He attended Western Oregon University, where he was a member of the football team, and graduated from Marylhurst College.
He served eight years in the U.S. Navy and went on to a 15-year career as a product service support manager for Xerox.
Survivors include: parents Jerry and Kathy of Independence; daughter Holly of Albany; brothers, Patrick of Gleneden Beach and Jerry of Canby; sister Tracy Yazzolino of Gleneden Beach.
A memorial service was held Nov. 28 in Canby Funeral Chapel with Pastor Charles Amato officiating. Committal took place in Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.

Rochelle K. Albrecht
Rochelle Kathleen Albrecht of Dundee died Nov. 25, 2009. She was 65.
She was born April 14, 1944, in Chehalis, Wash., to John and Inez Witchey. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Portland in 1962.
She married Arnold “Butch” Albrecht in 1982 and worked as a financial administrative assistant for Intel.
She enjoyed square dancing and quilt making.
Survivors include: husband Butch; sons, Scott and Sean Griffith; sister Janette Witchey and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
Hannah B. Wiley
Hannah Beth Wiley of Newberg died Nov. 18, 2009, of complications from leukemia. She was 28.
She was born Sept. 28, 1981, in Portland to Paul and LaVada Wiley. She grew up in Aloha, where she graduated from high school and was homecoming queen.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education from the University of Oregon in 2004 and earned a master’s degree in education from George Fox University in 2007.
She worked as a personal trainer and a physical education teacher for West Linn High School.
She was a member of Young Life and the Chi Omega sorority.
Survivors include: parents Paul and LaVada of Newberg; grandparents Paul Sr. and Dorothy of Springfield, Va.; sisters, Leeta Wilhite of Poulsbo, Wash., Mary Ferroggiaro of Portland, Sarah McGee of Sammamish, Wash., Rachael Nicolaisen of Studio City, Calif., Rebekah West of Dundee; brother Michael of Newberg and seven nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Nov. 28 in Cedar Mill Bible Church with Pastor Bryan Wilhite officiating. Committal took place in Mountainside Cemetery.

Donald F. Haston
Donald Francis Haston of Newberg died Nov. 26, 2009. He was 90.
He was born April 29, 1919, in Vancouver, Wash., to John and Nina (Wolfe) Haston. He grew up and attended school in White Salmon, Wash.
In 1936, he moved to Molalla, where he worked in the timber industry until serving in World War II.
He moved to Portland in 1948, where he worked as a truck driver for several years and then worked as a machinist until retiring in 1982.
He married Margaret Shepley on June 2, 1959.
He was a member and commander of the Newberg VFW post and served as commander of the Sellwood VFW post.
Survivors include: wife Margaret of Newberg; sons, Frank, George and Alvin; daughters, Marvene Seufert of Yuma, Ariz., and Carleen James of Newberg; brother Richard of California; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sister Eileen Fisher and brothers Carl, Robert and John.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Chehalem Valley Baptist Church with pastors Ken Bjorge and Bruce Sloan officiating.
