Welcome to the 27th Annual Newberg Old Fashioned Festival! Welcome to the 27th Annual Newberg Old Fashioned Festival! Don and I are both proud and excited to be associated with the Festival, something our entire community and surrounding areas eagerly anticipate and look forward to each year. As co-chairmen, we’d like to thank our long-standing committee members for once again doing an outstanding job in their respective areas, as well as thanking new members who joined to fill very large shoes. Please take a moment to read through the committee listing and thank these people if you get the chance. They work all year to bring you the best they can offer for your entertainment, all on a volunteer basis. We’d also like to thank the thousands of volunteer man hours and dollars from Festival sponsors, committee members, Fire Department and Volunteer Fire Department, Police Department, Park and Recreation District, and in-kind service sponsors have donated to make this event possible. Without them none of this would happen, and without the annual festival our community would surely feel its loss. And last but not least, thanks to you….the community. Thank you for coming, thank you for supporting the Old Fashioned Festival. We hope you enjoy this full weekend of fun, parades, fireworks, vendors, children and main stage entertainment, carnival, car show, and much more.
