   To the editor:   Inspired by the editor’s comments in the May 5 issue of The Newberg Graphic, suggesting we need to be well informed before we vote, I offer these thoughts about plans for a new fire station in Dundee:   As to the claim that the old building is no longer safe, the building has been seismically upgraded and has survived earthquakes in 1949, 1979 and 1993.
