Vacation Bible School scheduled YAMHILL - Landmark Baptist Church will hold a vacation Bible school from 10 a.m. to noon July 22-25 for children of all ages. The theme is "Good News Games" and will be held at Beulah Park on Third Street. There is no charge to attend the VBS and transportation will be provided. For more information or to arrange transportation, call Pastor Lance Simonds at 503-662-0032. -- An old-time tent revival CARLTON - The Seventh Annual Tent Meeting revival will be held July 13-25 at the Carlton Assembly of God, 437 S. Third St. Gary and Pat Huenke will open the meetings by speaking at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. July 13. Dick Joyce will speak at 7 p.m. July 14-18. Speaking at 7 p.m. July 20-25 will be Ormel and Sandi Chapin. There are no meetings on Saturdays. The services will minister in music, teaching, healing, gifts of the spirit, personal prophecy, and prayers for the needs of the people. Admission is free and there is free supervised childcare available. For more information, call 503-852-7189. -- Scholls Jam Festival planned SCHOLLS - Scholls Community Church is inviting families to the 2008 Scholls Jam Festival at 3 p.m. July 12. To kick off the event, free jars of homemade jam will be given away from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 6 in Rowells' Berry Field. A free community barbecue will benefit Medical Teams International (formerly Northwest Medical Teams). There will be music, magic, 25-cent carnival games, food and more.
