Ankeny, Burg Megan Ankeny and Matthew Burg of Newberg have announced their intention to marry June 21 at Newberg Friends Church. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Scott and Susan Ankeny of Newberg. She graduated from Newberg High School in 1999. She attended Pacific University and graduated in 2003 with a nursing degree. She is a labor and delivery nurse at Providence Newberg Medical Center. The groom-to-be is the son of Scott and Brenda Burg of Newberg. He graduated from Newberg High School in 2000. He attended George Fox University and graduated in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in biology and earned a master's degree in teaching in 2005. He teaches physics at Sunset High School in Beaverton and coaches cross-country and track. The couple met through church. |
