Weddle, Canfield Emily Weddle of Portland and Brandon Canfield of Cairo, Egypt, have announced their intention to marry. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Rick and Ginger Weddle of Cary, N.C. She is a 2006 graduate of Arizona State University and is employed as assistant director of alumni/events at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland. The groom-to-be is the son of Scott and Diane Canfield of Newberg. He earned his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University in 2000 and his doctorate from ASU in 2006. He is a visiting assistant professor at the American University in Cairo. The wedding will take place Aug. 2 at Sauvie Island near Portland. -- Carte, Fisher Marilyn Carte of Newberg and Rick Fisher of Longview, Wash., have announced their intention to marry. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Aaron and Ruth Myers of Newberg. She attended Newberg schools and works as a payroll clerk. The groom-to-be is the son of Frances Fisher. He graduated from Castle Rock High School in 1973 and is employed as a fork-lift operator. The wedding will be held in December in Kelso, Wash. |
